This past Wednesday the actress and one of the most influential fashionistas Sarah Jessica Parker had her birthday. But it wasn't just a normal celebration, this year, this 2015, was her 50th birthday. This amazing woman change the way in how we look fashion. Most people got the chance to learn about fashion due to her role in Sex and the City.  But that is not the only thing she is good at,let`s see.

Sarah Jessica Parker was born in March 25 of 1965 in Nelsonville, Ohio. She was part of a family of eight children. When she was young she wanted to sing and do ballet so their parents continue to support that dream so she attended the School of American Ballet in New York City, the New York Professional Children`s School, the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati and Hollywood High School in Los Angeles. This girl was meant to be famous or at least had a very cool career in design,or singing or dance, don't you think? Well so it was in her blood to become who she is now. And so she did it, in 1977-1981 she was cast in the Broadway Musical Annie, she stay there one year. Then she did a sitcom and several movies.
Remember this cool moment in those years, when she was dating Robert Downey Jr.

But the 6 of June, 1998 was the date that will change her live for ever. That they was the very first episode of Sex and the City. A drama/comedy series that had four friends living their lives in New York City. The serie become the girl talk that everybody wanted to know. The girls became famous, but also something else was bringing the attention. The role of Sarah was "Carrie Bradshaw" was a girl who wrote a column called "Sex and the City" in "The New York Star" Her character was know for her fashion, she combined new with old and she was addicted to shoes. Then she put all of the columns into one book and in that moment she started to work for Vogue and New York Magazine.Every girls dream! The serie ended in 2004. Then they create two movies, one in 2008 and another one in 2010.

The role of Carrie will become a real thing. When the era of "Sex and the City" was over Sarah became more and more relevant in the world of fashion. This big massive job she got was a campaign for GAP for $38 million dollars, in which Sarah was to appear in the fall ads for 2004 and spring adds for 2005.
But it wasn't well receive due that the costumers of GAP wasn't high fashion fans. This was one of the ads for this campaign.

In that same year 2005 she got her first perfume called "Lovely" 

In 2007 she launched her  first clothing line called "Bitten" in association with Steve and Barry`s. This line was a T-Shirt line and a very informal style. Most people miss that line because the said it was not expensive and it was very cute. The clothing and accessories were under $20, very cool.

In 2007 also released a new perfume called "Covet" and was a guest in the reality show "Project Runway". It looks really cool. Then in 2009 she got more perfumes called "Dawn", "Endless" and "Twilight" 

In 2014 she launched her "SJP Collection". This girl is on fire! But we got to admit, even do she is a fashionista, every magazine loves her, sometimes the choices that she made are very weird. In her honor lets review the most iconic moments of Sarah Jessica Parker in the red carpet.

Met Gala 2014:
This year she was the star in the Met Gala, she was wearing an Oscar de la Renta. A lovely, big, white and black dress. I am not very fan of gloves on dresses but this somehow work for her. Very nice

An informal look of blazer and pants create a perfect, relax style to spend a day with fans.

Sex and the City 2, 2010
This is the reason why Jessica is called "the queen of fashion". This amazing look was for Alexander McQueen. This gown and the hat are the perfect example on how Carrie and Jessica are soulmates.

SoWest Closing Ceremony in Vegas 2010:
I am not sure if this is a great look or a bad look. I love the top of her, the makeup, hair and the drees. But the bottom is not nice. You can tell her age in her legs. It`s not an insult but i don't like her legs at all. She decided for Marchesa to attend the event.

Sex and the City 2008
In Radio City Hall Jessica decided to attend with a Nina Ricci dress. The silver looks amazing with her skin and hair. Love it!

Oscars 2010:

In other time she decided to use a yellow Chanel dress to attend the Oscars in 2010. This dress looks like she is going to bed. I now that is Chanel and we all love that brand but the style is not working.

Met Gala 2013:

The theme of that year was punk but the dress it was just to much. The designer for that moment was Giles.

New City Ballet Gala 2013

A pink dress for ballet didn't get a dance. The combination of styles didn't create a nice look, it look like it was different dresses in one.The dress is from Grabal Gurung.

David Letterman 2011 Talk Show

Again Parker chose pink to attend David Letterman Show, but this is just to much. The combination is horribles, it looks like a bad 70 show or something.
The designer is Prabal Gurung.

This first 50 years of Sarah Jessica Parker were spectacular. A lot of looks, a lot of movies and a lot of creativity. I can`t image what is going to be for the next 50 years but i will watching.
