La batalla epica de las tendencias ha decidido tomar un paseo por Tres Chic Rose para que proclamemos el ganador. No importa en que año estemos, o cual generación seamos, las rayas o los puntos siempre serán partes de nuestro estilo. Todos tenemos en nuestros closets alguna blusa o camisa de rayas. También algún accesorio de puntos pero si pudieras elegir solamente una de las dos cual seria: rayas o puntos? Comparemos en cada sección las dos para ver cual es la favorita.
The epic battle between the trends has decided to take a walk in Tres Chic Rose so we can proclaim the winner. It dosen´t matter in which year we are o which generation we are the stripes or the polka dots always has been part of our style. We all have in our closets a stripe blouse / T-shirt or some accessory with polka dots. But if you had to choose right one of them, which will it be? Stripes or Polka dots? Let´s compare them yo see which is your favorite.
Moda / Fashion:
Stripes
Primero empezamos a compararlas en el mundo de la moda. Las rayas es una de las prendas de ropa mas comunes que todos tenemos. Es muy cómoda y a la vez puede ser muy formal. Tanto como para hombres como para mujeres esta opción es super importante de tener en el closet. Se puede combinar con otras prendas de ropa y aun así no pierdes el estilo. Ya sea con faldas, jeans o shorts las rayas son fáciles de llevar a todo lado. Veamos.
First let´s star compare them in the fashion world. The stripes is one of the most confortable articles of clothing that we have. It could be informal and formal. For men or for women this option is very important to have in the closet. It can combine with different things and never loose the style. Stripe skirts, jeans or shorts are so easy to take everywhere. Take a look.
El estilo mas común es la de blanco y negro o azul con blanco. Mas conocido como "estilo naviero".
The black and white or the blue and white are the most common in girls, it´s called "Navy Style"
Las rayas también en bikinis quedan perfecto si quieres verte ma sexy.
Stripe bikinis are always sexy.
Combinandola con abrigos, o sombreros creamos un look super formal y muy chic.
If you combine it with a coat or a hat you can create a very formal and chic look.
Otra forma que me gusta es cuando a la blusa le colocamos un toque femenino o buscamos algo que sea muy personal para que tengas un estilo muy original.
Another thing that i love is when we can put a little feminine touch to the blouse or when we create something more personal so we can have an original style.
Hasta Oscar de la Renta ha presentado un look de rayas en una de sus pasarelas.
Even Oscar de la Renta has show a look with stripes in one of his shows.
Otro uso en la ropa son las chaquetas, una de rayas te da un sentido muy de calle, muy relajado y con actitud.
Another use we can do with stripes are the hoodies, hey can give a very street , relax style but with an actitud. Very cool.
En hombres las camisas de rayas se ven super bien y lo mejor es que las puedes encontrar en varios colores. Así que lo chicos también se pueden divertir.
Stripes T-Shirts are super cool and they are in different colors so the boys can fun.
Polka Dots
Fashion / Moda
Así como las rayas, los puntos son muy populares pero aquí los hombres no forman parte de esta diversion.
Like stripes, the polka dots are very popular but in here the guys can´t have much fun.
Las blusas de puntos son muy dulces y femeninas. Se pueden usar tanto en eventos formales o hasta para salir a ver una película. A mi parecer te recomiendo no combinar mas de un patron cuando utilizes este tipo de diseño para que no cargue demasiada a la vista. Combinamos con colores neutros para que la blusa destaque. En cuestión de accesorios déjalos minimalistas para crear un look sutil. Los tonos pasteles son ideales ya que su tono ligero te hará ver fresca y divertida. Los colores perfecto para llevar blusas de puntos son azul con blanco, negro con blanco o al contrario.
The polka dots blouses are very feminine and sweet. They can be use in formal events o to go the cinema. In my opinion don´t mix patterns so your look is not over charged. The same with accessories, keep them minimalistic so you can have a sutil look. The perfecto colors to combine this type of blouse are pastel because it will give you a fresh and fun look. The most common polka dots blouses are blue and white, black and white or vice versa.
Para mi es mas divertido tener faldas con puntos ya que puedes crear un look con varias capas y aun así puedes verte chic. Otra parte que me gusta que hay mas variedad en combinaciones de colores. A mi me encantan hacerlas, coserlas es muy fácil y se ven muy hermosas.
For me is more fun to have polka dots skirts because you can have a lot of layers are still you look chic. And the other part that i love is that you can mix a colors so you can have more variety. I love make them they are so easy to sew and look amazing.
En bikinis los puntos se ven muy tiernos pero debes elegir muy bien el estilo para que se te vea cómoda.
The polka dots bikinis are sweets but you need to find the correct style so you look confortable.

Zapatos /Shoes
Stripes
Los zapatos de rayas con muy elegantes y son perfecto para llevar con vestidos en eventos formales.
The stripes shoes are very elegant and are perfect to match with dresses in formal events.
Polka Dots
The Polka Dots are more informal but still you can use them for forma events. In my opinion these type of shoes are for younger girls. But still they are lovely. They represent romance and tenderness.
¿En esta batalla quien gano?. Para mi todo es depende de la ocasión.
Which win this battle? For me its all about the event.
Bolsos/ Bags
Stripes.
En esta parte vamos a debatir cual tendencia se ve mejor en los bolsos. ¿Seran las rayas? ¿Serán los puntos? Veamos.
In this part we are going to debe which trend looks better in bags. is it going to be stripes? Is it going to be polka dots? let´s see.
Los bolsos con rayas lo relaciono mas con la playa, con estilos navieros. Son elegantes y grandes. Son cómodos para llevar de todo a donde quieras ir sin verte inmensa en las calles. Tienen un aire chic y un aire listo para el viaje
The stripes bags are relative to the beach, navy style. They look elegant and bigs. They are confortables to care all the things that you want without looking huge in the streets. They have a chic air and an air ready to travel.
Polka Dots.
Para los bolsos de puntos son mas divertidos ya que no se sienten tan elegantes y los puedes llevar tanto con tus amigas como en una cita. Dan un estilo delicado pero a la vez moderno. Al verlos o al usarlo me hace sentir joven como que me devuelve en el tiempo y me hace ver que todavía tengo toda la una vida por recorrer. Es muy curioso pero ese es el efecto que hace en mi.
Polka Dot bags are more fun because they are not too elegant, to formal. You can were them when you hang out with your friends or in a date. They gave a delicate but modern touch. For me this type of print makes me feel young, it take me back in time y and remains me that i have a whole life get to explore. Is funny how this affect me.
Puedo decir que para mi la ganadora en este batalla son los puntos.

Decoración /Decor:
Stripes
En el tema de decoración las rayas son motivo de elegancia, de importancia y de mayor respeto. Las sillas con este estilo te dan dando a entender que estas en un lugar chic. Para mi ese es el principal mueble que puede ir con rayas. Del resto lo prefiero en los accesorios de la casa como las cortinas, objetos personales o de tecnología. Mi recomendación es solo fijar la tendencia en una sola cosa para que después no caigamos como en ilusione ópticas y nos mareamos.
In the topic of decor the stripes means elegance, importance and major respect. The stripes chairs are telling you that you are in a chic place. it`s also gives a sense of victorian.For me that is the only furniture that i will put stripes on. The rest can be in curtains, personal objects or technological objects. My recommendation is to use this print on just one thing so you don´t get dizzy.
Polka Dots.
Los puntos en el hogar son precisos para la paredes, objetos, edredones y también sillas. En objetos hacen que los ojos se vayan directo a el lo que hace una excelente herramienta donde menos es mas. Los puntos en edredones son perfectos para cualquiera de los sexos ya que con solo cambiar la combinación de colores se adaptan a cualquiera de los dos y no importa la edad que tengas.
El papel tapiz de puntos te puede servir en tu estudio, en ese lugar donde quieras sentir inspiración. Ahora si te gusta el vintage una silla de puntos te hará sentir como esas tarde en la casa de tu abuelita. Así que elige el espacio indicado y sacarle provecho.
The polka dots in the house are right for walls, objects, quilts and chairs. The great thing is that when when the dots are in the objects the eye goes right to that making the main point of the room. The quilts are ideal for any sex, just changing the colors can be adapted for men or for women. The wall paper can be use in the studio or in that place where you want to be inspired. And if you like the vintage style, a polka dot chair will remain you those afternoons in grandma house. So pick the correct space and take advantage of that.
